COMPANY
PROFILE
RPM SEATTLE provides music copying / music preparation
for the motion picture & television recording industry, musicals,
jingles, live performance, symphonic composition, and publishing.
EXPERIENCE: Together, our staff offers you over 100,000
hours of experience, ranging from music copying for major motion
pictures and television to music engraving for
the largest publishers in the world. Our feature film credits include
Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind, Man On Fire, Keeping the
Faith, Die Hard With A Vengeance and many others.
Commercial and corporate clients include
Dave Matthews, The Seattle Symphony, Pacific
Northwest Ballet, Boeing, Microsoft, Nike, Adidas and Intel.
ACCURACY: Youll find each of our copyist / engraver's
work to be accurate and easy to read, with excellent
page turns. Parts are computer typeset
on either the US recording standard
9 1/2 x 12 1/2 paper, folio 9"x12"
(commonly used for published music), letter
or custom sized pages. Autography (hand copying)
is also available as an option. Each
part is carefully double checked by our
proofreaders. If you are a publisher with your
own proofreading dept, or are an independent
composer on a tight budget, you can
proofread the material and we will
make any corrections at no charge.
TURNAROUND: Our fast turnaround and attention to detail
ensure that your recording session will go smoothly.
We can provide a professional orchestra librarian
to keep your printed music organized and
to oversee changes or fixes throughout the course
of your recording session. Our on-site network
connection for parts and score file retrieval
during the session, and the availability of our
copying staff during the recording will further
insure that everything will be recorded
on time and on budget.
RPM SEATTLE can send and receive up to 12x18
Tabloid+ scores via fax (425)415-1515. Scores
can also be Fed-Exd
to us prior to the recording session for preparing.
After the recording, the parts are
sorted and boxed up for storage,
or recycled, depending on your directive
(we can provide you with an archival
disc of the parts and score files).
Everything where it needs
to be, when it needs to
be there. No headaches. No hassles.
If you are recording in Seattle, we'll provide total
on-site support for any size ensemble quickly
and efficiently, without padding your invoice
with travel expenses.
We can even provide printing and duplication
for "your" copyist, when dealines are so tight
that there isn't enough time to FedEx the parts
to the record site using our server
and network connection. And, no matter where
you record, well make sure that all
of the prepared scores and parts arrive
in plenty of time for your session.
TAKEDOWNS & OTHER SERVICES: Our team has extensive experience
in a broad range of musical styles from classical through contemporary
pop and jazz. Many of our staff are experienced and skilled orchestrators
and arrangers. Their expertise insures that your prepared music
will be accurate, clear and appropriate stylistically whether
your music is copied from paper or transcribed from a recording.
Many composers and orchestrators today work at the computer.
RPM can convert your standard MIDI files or sequencer files into
printed music - either into a sketch for the orchestrator in preparing
a final orchestration, or into the final score and parts from
a fully orchestrated sequencer file. We speak your native language
- Audio Logic, Cakewalk, Digital Performer, Encore, Finale, Mosaic,
Studio Vision, Sibelius, Igor...
We provide the same commitment and level of quality to every
project. And our competitive rates (no special
payments - we do all work for hire) have
made us the obvious choice for recording sessions
in the greater Seattle area and beyond. Call
Robert Puff at (425)415-1500 today
for pricing information and prepared
music samples.
